GFI in the Marketplace - Kickstart

GFI products are new in the ADN Cloud Marketplace. Here you will find the most important information for your quick start with GFI products.

 

At the moment, the following products are supported by the platform: KerioConnect, KerioControl, GFI Archiver, GFI MailEssentials.

The other products will be made available later. When they are available, existing subscriptions will be imported.

1. Important information


GFI's products are now available in the ADN Cloud Marketplace. If you have existing subscriptions with your customers, you will be able to find them in the ADN Cloud Marketplace. The import will take place in the next few days.

2. Access to the ADN Cloud Marketplace

If you already had access to the ADN Cloud Marketplace for your company, you were automatically assigned the GFI products and GFI customers. You can use your  existing accounts to manage them.
If you have not previously had access to the ADN Cloud Marketplace, you will receive an email from us with an activation link. This email will be sent to the primary contact specified in the GFI portal. The link is valid for 3 days. This allows you to create an initial user. The email address of the initial user is automatically the main address for their Marketplace access. All important information are sent to this e-mail address.

Access to the ADN Cloud Marketplace is secured via multifactor authentication. As standard, you will receive a code by e-mail. Alternative authentication methods can be found here:

3. Customer management


You can manage your customer accounts via the "My Customer" module. You can find the instructions here: https://wissen.adn.de/die-my-customer-sektion

4. Order GFI products


GFI's products can be found in the ADN Cloud Marketplace in the "GFI" category.

The order is made in these steps (for new orders):

Add the product to the cart.

Choose the desired contract term.

If the customer is eligible, enter the promotion code or select that it is an order for government entities. Otherwise, leave the fields blank.

You can give the subscription a "friendly name". This is used for administration in the Marketplace. We do not recommend only providing the product name. By default, the subscription is labeled "Customer Name - Product Name".

 At the bottom end is an advance price information. Please note that the final price cannot be issued at this time. This is only done after the customer has selected. You can recognize this by the yellow symbol.

Click on "Proceed to checkout" to continue the process.

In the next step, you select the end customer for whom you are ordering. You can select an existing one (in the dropdown) or create a new customer. We recommend creating new customers via the "My Customer" module.

After the end customer has been selected, the final price is determined. You will then see it in the table below.

In addition, you can specify an order reference. This reference is assigned to all subscriptions that are newly created with this order.

Click on "Checkout" to start the ordering process.

You will be asked to check your reseller data. In the next step, the order is automatically transmitted to GFI.

5. Manage existing subscriptions

To view existing subscriptions, go to the Subscriptions list. https://marketplace.adncloud.de/my-subscriptions/?view=3

You can set and customize the subscription list with your own views that you can save. You can find instructions here: https://wissen.adn.de/abonnement-liste

If you click on the name of the subscription, you will see the details of the subscription.

Renewals

If you want to renew a subscription on the end date, you must turn off auto-renewal. To stop renewal, you must turn off auto-renewal.

You can only turn off auto-renewal up to the 3rd day before the renewal date! It is not possible to deactivate the extension at a later date. If the day is exceeded, the renewal will be executed on the renewal date.

 

All subscriptions imported into the ADN Cloud Marketplace for you by merging the purchase channels at GFI will have auto-renewal disabled! You must activate it if you want to renew the subscription

Currently, it is only possible to renew on the expiration date via automatic renewal.

Further functions to carry out the renewal during the term will follow in the next few months.

Managing renewal settings

You have the option of adjusting the settings for renewal using the Manage Renewal feature. You can customize:

  • The amount with which you want to run the extension
  • The term for which the renewal is to be executed

To use the feature, click on "I want to..." and select Manage Renewal.
